Intermediate Class: Bead Embroidered Earrings, August 28th 11:30-2:30
Learn basic bead embroidery techniques to make a fringy earring pair.Cost:
$45.00 per personDuration:
3hAbout this experience
Gail will teach you how to do some basic bead embroidery techniques including stitching onto a foundation, adding backing and edging, and fringe. Most students do not finish an earring during the class, but you will have all techniques demonstrated and explained in addition to the tutorial to take home. If needed, you can always plan on returning during our Tuesday open beading sessions for help finishing.
This project will require a little dexterity and patience to work with these tiny beads. Bring your magnifier glasses if you need them!
A complete kit is included in the price of the class and you will have several colors to choose from, including the one pictured.
Q: Am I an Intermediate stitcher and can I take this class?
A: For this class, you should have a couple of projects completed using seed beads. You should be able to thread a beading needle and feel comfortable working with seed beads as small as size 15. We do have great classroom lamps with magnifiers to help us, though!
