About this experience

Make a bracelet or a necklace - the choice is yours. Cellini is a name for a beading technique that creates dimension by using different sized beads in a peyote stitch.  This teeny tiny version is a great place to learn a simple version of this technique.   We will be working with size 15, 11 and 8 seed beads.

This stitch is easy and repetitive once you get it going, but as with a lot of stitches, the start can be quite tricky.  You'll have two hours to learn the stitch with us at your side to help you get it figured out!

Supplies are not included and you will need to purchase or bring needles, thread (Fireline 6lb) and your choice of beads.  You are welcome to bring items from your stash, but we have everything you need available for purchase.

Bring your magnifier glasses if you need them! As with many stitched projects, you will not finish this in class but you will learn the stitch.

Q: Am I an Intermediate stitcher and can I take this class?

A: For this class, you should have a couple of projects completed using seed beads. You should be able to thread a beading needle and feel comfortable working with seed beads as small as size 11.  This class teaches a stitch and you will need to feel comfortable adding a clasp as you wish (but we can help!) It will be super helpful if you have some experience with peyote stitch, especially tubular.
