About this experience

Make a bracelet or a necklace - the choice is yours. This is a nice versatile stitch for making a rope to hang a pendant or just wear by itself. We will be working with size 8 and size 11 seed beads, but more ambitious stitchers might want to try sizes 11 and 15 for a thinner rope.

The stitch is easy and repetitive once you get it going, but it can sometimes be tricky to figure out if you make a mistake or lose your place.  You'll have two hours to learn the stitch with us at your side to help you get it figured out!

Supplies are not included and you will need to purchase or bring needles, thread (Fireline 6lb) and your choice of beads.  You are welcome to bring items from your stash, but if you wish to purchase your supplies on the day of the class you’ll get 10% off!!

Bring your magnifier glasses if you need them! As with many stitched projects, you will not finish this in class but you will learn the stitch.

Q: Am I an Intermediate stitcher and can I take this class?

A: For this class, you should have a couple of projects completed using seed beads. You should be able to thread a beading needle and feel comfortable working with seed beads as small as size 11.  This class teaches a stitch and you will need to feel comfortable adding a clasp as you wish (but we can help!)
