About this experience
This is a variation of the simple spiral stitch, and in our complete tutorial we have mapped out the order and combination of beads you need to create a graduated beaded icicle.
These are fun to make, and we have seen many customers go on to make lots and lots, incorporating colorful crystals to make them even more interesting! They make great gifts, too.
Your class fee includes one of our generous kits in either silver or gold. Each kit has enough supplies to create 5 icicle ornaments, including beads, thread and needles. We will be stitching with seed beads in sizes 15, 11, 8 and 6.
Q: Am I an Intermediate stitcher and can I take this class?
A: It is super helpful if you have taken our simple spiral class OR have done this stitch on your own. For this class, you should have multiple projects and stitches completed using seed beads. You should be able to thread a beading needle and feel comfortable working with seed beads as small as size 15. You will need to follow step by step directions in the tutorial as there are many bead changes as you work (but we have tips to help make that easier!)
