Intermediate Bead Weaving: Chenille Stitch, November 12, 11:30 - 1:30
Learn this versatile beaded rope pattern!About this experience
Make a bangle, clasped bracelet or a necklace - the choice is yours. We will be working with size 11 seed beads, but more ambitious stitchers might want to try incorporating some demi rounds for a different look.
The stitch is easy and repetitive once you get it going. You'll have two hours to learn the stitch with us at your side to help you get it figured out! Gail will also demonstrate how to join into a bangle.
Supplies are not included and you will need to purchase or bring needles, thread (Fireline 6lb) and your choice of beads. You are welcome to bring items from your stash, but we have everything you need available for purchase.
Bring your magnifier glasses if you need them! As with many stitched projects, you will not finish this in class but you will learn the stitch.
Q: Am I an Intermediate stitcher and can I take this class?
A: For this class, you should have a couple of projects completed using seed beads. You should be able to thread a beading needle and feel comfortable working with seed beads as small as size 11. This class teaches a stitch and you will need to feel comfortable adding a clasp as you wish (but we can help!)
