Class Series: Bezeled Stone Bead Embroidery
From beginner to advanced, set aside Tuesday afternoons to create a fabulous bead embroidery.

Make a statement with this project series. Explore the possibilities of combining beads, fabric and thread to make an embroidered statement necklace that will bring you compliments every time you wear it.
Your booking fee for this class includes a session EVERY Tuesday from November 3 through December 22nd, with the exception of November 17. You will work at your own pace, so if you need to skip a session or two, you won't miss anything!
This class is suitable for all levels from beginner to advanced, as you will be working at your own pace, including some stitching at home. We will be working with tiny glass beads, so patience, good lighting, and good eyesight are the key tools you will need to succeed in this class.
You will learn how to capture a cabochon or stone on a foundation. We will surround them with beads, cup chain and other embellishments. Finishing will include two kinds of edge stitching, edge stiching embellishments and backing. I will teach you how to create a matching wire wrapped bead chain, or you can use plain or beaded chain.
The design will be completely up to you, but the construction will be similar for everyone. Your class fee includes all 7 sessions, plus beading foundation, needles, thread, and ultrasuede or textured vinyl backing. You will need to either purchase or supply the beads and cabochons from your stash. (or both!)
You are welcome to bring your own stash of supplies, but of course we have everything you need here available for purchase. (Note: The sample cabochons are not available at this time.)
In our comfortable classroom we have great task lighting and magnification, but if you have specialized items of this type, bring it!
