Explore the possibilities of combining beads, fabric and thread to make stunning jewelry creations. This class that is suitable for all levels from beginner to advanced, as you will be working at your own pace on projects of your choosing. We will be working with tiny glass beads, so patience, good lighting, and good eyesight are the key tools you will need to succeed in this class.
You will learn how to stitch beads to fabric and how to finish your pieces with backing and findings to create jewelry or decorative objects.
The kinds of projects we will be doing are completely up to you. I have several starter kit designs available, and when you sign up for 5 or more sessions, you’ll get two free starter projects and extra supplies! If you have taken a bead embroidery class with me previously and need to finish you project, bring it!
Some use of classroom supplies will be included like glue, patterns, paints, but you will mostly need to provide your own beads and supplies. You are welcome to bring your own stash of supplies, but of course we have everything you need here available for purchase.
In our comfortable classroom we have great task lighting and magnification, but if you have specialized items of this type, bring it!
